EU Citizenship –
Step by Step

Your path to European Union citizenship starts here. Whether you’re looking for a second passport, greater mobility, or business access to Europe, we help you navigate the process – from start to citizenship.

Each EU country has its own rules and opportunities. We help you find the one that fits you best.

Naturalization

is available for those who are already residents of Hungary for some time. Depending on whether you have a Hungarian spouse and/or children as well, you may or may not be required to pass a citizenship exam in Hungarian.

Simplified Naturalization

If you have Hungarian parents or ancestors (even from hundreds of years ago) and you’re willing to learn basic Hungarian, you are automatically eligible.

Verification of citizenship

is available in specific cases if your close relatives were once citizens of Hungary. If you are eligible, you will not need to speak Hungarian to get your Hungarian passport.

1. Assessment: Check Your Eligibility

The first step is to determine whether you qualify for citizenship in any EU country through ancestry, naturalization, or other grounds.

Before jumping into documents or applications, take a step back.

  • What’s your goal – mobility, family reunification, business setup, relocation?
  • Do you have ancestral ties to Europe?
  • Are you open to investment or residency before citizenship?

Some countries are easier for ancestry claims, others offer business residency or investment routes. We help you understand where your chances are strongest.

2. Local Support – Handpicked for You

When you’re ready to proceed, we introduce you to a trusted local agency or legal partner in the chosen country.

You receive a personal welcome letter with clear instructions.

  • Your representative assists with paperwork, translations, and local procedures.
  • We remain involved and available throughout.
  • You don’t have to navigate a foreign system alone.

3. Application Submission

With documents ready, your application is submitted to the national authority.

Depending on the procedure, you may need to visit an embassy or local office.

Your local partner manages the technical and legal parts.

4. Citizenship & Passport

Once your application is approved:

  • You receive your citizenship certificate (and complete any formalities required).
  • You can apply for a national passport and ID.
  • As an EU citizen, you gain the right to live, work, study, and travel freely across 27 countries.
